Welcoming Bahareh Goodarzi, QMNC’s New Senior Research Manager

Please join QMNC in welcoming Bahareh (Bahar) Goodarzi as QMNC’s new Senior Research Manager.

Bahar is a midwife, a lecturer at the Academy for Midwifery in Amsterdam/Groningen and a PhD candidate (defense date February 2023) at the department of Midwifery Science, Amsterdam Public Health/Amsterdam UMC, VUmc. As Senior Research Manager, Bahar will support the QMNC Research Alliance online community members, with the goal of facilitating the QMNC research agenda and developing research capacity across the alliance.

She was offered the position after an extensive hiring process conducted by the Senior Research Manager Hiring Task Force. Task Force members shared that they believe Bahar’s commitment to QMNC’s vision and mission, as well as her understanding of the unique needs of researchers from LMIC countries, will be instrumental in achieving the goals of this project.
