​I am a midwife by training, graduated from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos  (UNMSM), and a complementary therapist. I work as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at UNMSM in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, where I hold a permanent position. Among the courses I teach is Traditional, Alternative, and Complementary Medicine for Midwifery, a subject for which I have served as the lead instructor. I have had the opportunity to invite specialists from various countries and backgrounds, developing a humanistic and holistic approach. This includes collaborating with traditional midwives in coordination with other institutions and participating in community health initiatives.

Additionally, I work independently as a midwife and therapist in complementary medicine. I provide care for women, including prenatal and postnatal checkups, support during home or clinic births, and care for the families of these women. I advocate for the rights of women and mothers to receive respectful and humanized care.

I have also worked as a consultant on projects related to the development and training of respectful childbirth practices with an intercultural approach at the national level. I hold a master’s degree in Teaching and Research in Health, a diploma in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, and training in Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion from the Neijing School of Chinese Acupuncture, as well as bioenergetics, Bach flower therapy, among others. Currently, I am pursuing training in Humanistic Psychotherapy and Integrative Community Therapy.

I live in Lima and am the daughter of remarkable parents from the provinces of Peru. I love Peruvian dances and folklore, and I practice marinera and other traditional dances. I strive to become a better person every day and to contribute to both my personal growth and the betterment of humanity.

Mi breve reseña: 

Soy Obstetra de formación, egresada de la UNMSM y terapeuta complementaria, laboro como docente en la Facultad de medicina de la UNMSM, Departamento de Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública, donde soy nombrada. Entre las cátedras que enseño, están las de Medicina Tradicional alternativa y complementaria para obstetricia de esta me he desempañado como responsable de la asignatura y tuve la oportunidad de invitar a especialistas de diversos países y características, desarrollado un enfoque humanista e integral, invitando incluso a parteras tradicionales en coordinación con otras instituciones, además de participar en salud comunitaria, por otro lado, me desempeño como obstetra independiente laborando tanto como obstetra y terapeuta en medicina complementaria, atendiendo a mujeres incluyendo el control pre y post natal, el acompañamiento del parto en casa o clínica y también atiendo a las familias de las mujeres y abogo por los derechos de las mujeres y madres a una atención respetuosa y humanizada, he participado como consultora en proyectos vinculados a la elaboración y capacitación a parto respetado con enfoque intercultural a nivel nacional, tengo una maestría en docencia e investigación en salud, diplomado en salud sexual y reproductiva del adolescentes y formación en acupuntura China y moxibustión por la Escuela Neijing de acupuntura China, en bioenergética, flores de bach, entre otras y actualmente curso la formación en psicoterapia Humanista y en Terapia comunitaria Integrativa.

Vivo en Lima, y soy hija de grandes padres provincianos peruanos, amo las danzas y folklore peruano, y practico la marinera, entre otras danzas y quiero ser cada día mejor persona y contribuir a mi crecimiento personal, como de nuestra humanidad humanidad
