Join us, our colleagues at QMNC and the Birth Wars filmmaking team for a screening for a special screening of Birth Wars, a documentary that captures the power struggles shaping real lives—and offers a vision for something better.
Told through deeply personal stories from Mexico’s maternal health system, Birth Wars chronicles the tensions between doctors and midwives—and the possibilities that emerge when bridges are built.
After the film, stay for a conversation with the Birth Wars filmmaking team Director Janet Jarman and Producer Sharon Bissell about how QMNC-aligned research can help strengthen those bridges and improve birth outcomes in Mexico and beyond.
